Mandatory Credit: Jeff Blake-USA TODAY SportsThe sophomore forward played big parts in wins over sixth ranked Ohio State and UNC Greensboro by the second ranked Gamecocks.She scored 23 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had five assists against the Buckeyes and had 19 points, and 10 assists against UNCG.Wilson, a preseason All-SEC First Team selection, made the squad as a year ago and was the league’s freshman of the year.She was named a third team All-American by the Associated Press.During the summer Wilson was named Most Valuable Player of the FIBA U19 World Championships. She earned the same hone in 2014 in the U18 games.last_img
